Marshall Allen shot in Bruges, 2004 while shooting for @thewiremagazine . I wanted to shoot live but was frustrated with the homogenised look of love photography. I attached a Q-Flash to the side of my RZ set the aperture to F11 so I didn’t have to worry too much about focus. I wasn’t too pleased with the results at the time but like them much more now. Marshall is the leader of Sun Ra Arkestra and has played with them since the 50’s
