Looking for pictures always throws up treasures from past shoots. This tangent took me to a wonderful shoot for the Wire with Philip Corner in Italy in 2004! Philip was performing with Pheobe Neville but during the day Philip put on a private show for me and the gallery owner. I thought he was moving chairs away to make more space so I got up to help. The gallery owner grabbed my arm and said ‘sit down he has started!’ The noise of the iron chairs on the marble floor became the start of the composition and I missed my chance to duet with the wonderful Philip Corner.
