Rachel Reeves appears to have made it her mission to tie the uk to policies which will detrimentally effect our country permanently. All this despite an overwhelming 65% of the population in favour of nature over development.

"focus on getting things built and stop worrying about the bats and the newts" Rachel Reeves Jan, 2025

“The outdated planning system has been gummed up by burdensome bureaucracy and held to ransom by blockers for too long.  Rachel Reeves, Oct 2025

"some snails on the site that are a protected species or something… …microscopic snails that you cannot even see," Rachel Reeves, Oct 2025

"We are looking at what we can do to exploit more of our resources in the North Sea through tie-backs... We are going to be reliant on oil and gas for many years to come". Rachel Reeves Apr, 2026

Her policies are more in line with the economy busting Tory Liz Truss than anything we should be getting from a Labour government.

The Energy and Climate Intelligence Unit (ECIU) estimates that the UK's high dependency on fossil fuels has cost the economy £183bn over the past four years, including the initial surge from this 2026 conflict.

We know the fuel prices don’t reduce simply because we “have our own supply” so why are we still tethering ourselves to further potential dependency?

While prices have risen, reports suggest the UK is better prepared than in previous crises, having added significant renewable energy capacity (wind and solar) since 2022, saving millions of pounds daily.

It feels like we are being lead down the garden path, uprooting the plants, standing on the snails and pouring oil into our ponds…
