sheep

The bond between a ewe and her lamb is abundant at this time of year but the fields were not as caring as them.

Today we saw a Scottish Blackface sheep which appeared to have fallen down a muddy bank, about 3 meters to its left was the carcass of another sheep long dead. In front of it with its head trapped in a metal fence was a third sheep recently died with its hindquarters ripped open. At the top of the field we saw a lamb with a seriously damaged front leg which it held, limp in the air as it hopped after its mother. We managed to find the farm they belonged to and informed them. Seeing 4 animals with injuries and decay in the same small area wasn’t a nice sight at all.
