Towards the end of last year at The Roost in East London I spent the day photographing the wonderful model Rebecca Pearson carrying a range of handbags by Ameko.

On the way into Margate from the London is St Nicholas Roundabout, rooks circle as they do. The first exit takes you to a small car park, the sort of car park men loiter in their cars eating cold Mc Donald’s during the day and teenagers congregated and take part in smoking rituals in the early hours. At one time Romans would have passed this way before “the car park” was invented.
